Help Your School District Win The 2020 Community Challenge
Year after year, one of the things we love most about the Community Challenge is seeing how school districts rally their staff and students to get on board. From teaching healthy activities in the classroom to organizing healthy events that involve the whole community, Texas educators are living the value of health and setting the example for younger generations.
The 2020 Community Challenge kicks off on January 6, and we can’t wait to see what Texas schools will accomplish over the 8-week competition. To help start things off, we’ve listed out all the different ways that school participants can earn points on behalf of their district. At the end of the competition, the school district with the most points in each of five size categories will get $500 to put toward a school health project. Faculty, staff, students, and parents are all encouraged to get involved. Here they are, 10 actions you can take to help your school district earn points in the 2020 Community Challenge.
